Effects of Garbage Pollution on Animals
Animals are the most affected by garbage pollution. The pollution caused by garbage that infects water can infect humans, but we have an advanced system of filters that can clean the water. However, the water can still be infected and hurt humans if it infects the part of the pipe after the filter system. The water used by animals, however, has no filters and therefore the water is still very harmful. The water can infect a huge habitat of animals. We get everything we need from nature indirectly, so when we infect nature, we are infecting ourselves. Water pollution is not the only problem affecting animals. In the ocean, there are tons of garbage floating on the surface. There have been many incidents where an aquatic animal accidently swallows on of these pieces of garbage and choke on it, thinking that it was a fish it could snack on. If we continue to kill animals, there will soon be a bigger problem: endangering species.
